My recent shopping experience was truly awful, and I feel compelled to share my story as a warning. After doing extensive research online to find a reputable jeweler, I visited one of your physical locations, hoping for a pleasant transaction. Instead, I encountered an experience so disappointing that it soured my entire impression. It was characterized by unfriendly staff and being overpriced. After waiting for someone to help us or even acknowledge our presence for several minutes, the salesperson inquired where else we had shopped and when I told him BlueNile, he went on to make it very clear that this store was probably too expensive for me. He must be new to the Bay Area and not realize people here have heard of the internet and won't waste their money by not being informed. This dismissive attitude left me feeling disrespected and completely undermined my confidence in your brand. I knew I had to speak up and engage with customer service to express my extreme dissatisfaction.
Customer: I'm calling about a truly terrible experience I had in your store today. Your staff was incredibly rude and made me feel completely unwelcome. CS Rep: I am so sorry to hear that, and I truly apologize for the negative experience you had. Can you please tell me more about what happened so I can understand and address your concerns? Customer: Well, after waiting for ages, the salesperson basically told me the store was "too expensive for me" just because I mentioned I'd also looked at BlueNile online. It was utterly dismissive and unprofessional. CS Rep: That is completely unacceptable behavior, and I'm very concerned to hear this. Please be assured we do not tolerate such attitudes from our staff. Could you tell me which location you visited and approximately what time this occurred? Customer: It was at your Bay Area store, around 2 PM today. I don't remember the salesperson's name, but his comment about me not being able to afford anything was just insulting. CS Rep: Thank you for providing those details. I will immediately escalate this internally and investigate thoroughly. We deeply regret that our staff made you feel this way, and it certainly does not reflect the service we aim to provide. We’d like to find a way to make this right for you.
